SAP ABAP Developer

Design, develop, test, and debug custom ABAP programs, reports, forms, and interfaces against CNIC’s ABAP coding standards. Build and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems (IDoc, ALE, file-based, web services), including support for CNIC’s custom inbound FI file processing framework from worldwide POS systems. Develop/support HR Features (PE03) and HRBEN0052-driven benefits configuration, so new benefits require config only, not code changes. Optimize ABAP performance for high-volume transactions. Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and patch cycles from a development perspective. Maintain technical specs and code documentation; provide development time estimates and status reporting. Mentor junior developers support system migration/data conversion planning.

Required Certification: Must complete/maintain DoD IAT Level II baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) per DoDD 8570/8140., 10+ years of SAP ABAP development in complex, highly customized ECC/BW environments. Demonstrated experience building custom reports (ALV, classic), BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, RFCs, and Smart Forms/Adobe Forms. IDoc/ALE/file-based and SAP PI/PO integration development experience, including mapping IDOCs to logical filenames/outbound interfaces. Experience with HR ABAP: PE03 features and HRBEN0052 configuration/IDOC generation. Ability to work within a pre-existing custom framework driving file processing dynamically from filename/config (not standard SAP config alone)
