Full Stack Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our enterprise technology team in Uptown Charlotte. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across both backend and frontend development, with an approximately 50% backend / 50% frontend focus. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular 16+, and SQL Server, along with experience developing scalable enterprise applications and working within Agile and DevSecOps environments. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong technical ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with development, QA, product, and operations teams., * Design, develop, enhance, and support scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot. * Develop responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular 16+. * Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications. * Apply object-oriented design principles and industry-standard design patterns to develop maintainable and scalable solutions. * Work with SQL Server to develop queries, stored procedures, data models, and optimize database performance. * Develop and maintain integrations using XML, JSON, REST APIs, JDBC, and JPA. * Write comprehensive unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure application quality and reliability. * Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle. * Troubleshoot complex application, performance, and production issues and provide effective technical solutions. * Collaborate with QA teams to support functional, integration, and regression testing. * Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. * Create and maintain technical documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence. * Work effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, product owners, business stakeholders, and operations teams.

* Unit Testing frameworks

6+ years of hands-on Angular development experience, with strong experience in Angular 16 or higher.

Strong experience developing responsive and scalable web applications.

3+ years of SQL Server development experience, including:

* Complex SQL queries * Query optimization * Stored procedures * Data modeling

Proven experience developing and supporting microservices-based applications.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns.

Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD practices.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, product, and operations teams.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working within large-scale enterprise or financial-services environments. * Prior experience supporting highly regulated or security-sensitive applications. * Experience with modern CI/CD and cloud-native development practices. * Experience with containerization and platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes. * Experience with automated testing and quality engineering practices. * Experience working with high-volume, highly available enterprise applications.
