Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline \n
-
5+ years of experience in large, high-voltage battery pack development from concept through market introduction \n
-
3+ years of engineering leadership or management experience with demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship \n
-
Strong experience with Battery Management System (BMS) development and verification for high-voltage battery packs \n
-
Strong understanding of embedded control software development and documentation for safety-critical applications \n
-
Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink for model-based control development and electrical/control system simulation \n
-
Experience developing or governing advanced battery algorithms including SOC, SOE, SOH, and real-time battery state estimation \n
-
Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols including CAN, SAE J1939, and CAN 2.0B \n
-
Knowledge and experience with ISO 26262 functional safety and ISO 21434 cybersecurity \n
-
Experience with requirements management and automotive development processes including IATF 16949, APQP, and/or V-model development \n
-
Experience overseeing BMS integration with battery packs, vehicle control units, dataloggers, and external interfaces \n
-
Ability to lead technical activities across requirements, architecture, implementation, HIL testing, field testing, validation, and release management \n

Experience managing engineering development plans, milestones, budgets, schedules, and technical roadmaps \n
-
Experience with data-driven or machine learning approaches for battery health, field failure, degradation, or performance prediction is valuable \n

Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary and international engineering teams
