Radar Engineer/Analyst

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support integration, testing, and analysis activities for missile defense radar systems and simulation software

• Integrate new radar capabilities and software features into existing mature systems

• Validate and verify radar functionality, performance, and algorithm effectiveness

• Coordinate with onsite system administrators to install and configure software

• Execute radar simulation and analysis software in operational environments

• Extract, review, and analyze radar performance data

• Perform scenario development and complex radar performance analysis

• Support tactical software testing for AN/TPY-2 and SBX radar platforms

• Participate in prototyping, verification, and risk reduction efforts

Work closely with software engineers and analysts in a collaborative team environment

• 2-10 years of professional experience

• Radar experience (operations, engineering, systems analysis, or radar performance analysis)

• Strong MATLAB experience, including analysis tool development

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field

• Active Secret Security Clearance * Experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)

• Experience with AN/TPY-2 or SBX radar systems

• Radar HWIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) experience

• Python experience for data modeling and analysis

• Fire control systems experience

• Simulation framework experience

• Missile defense testing, post-flight reconstruction, or risk reduction efforts
