Senior Java Developer (IGaming) - las palmas de gran canaria

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to be a key player in building and optimizing backend services that power the platform. You will work on critical projects, including integrating a new feed supplier and developing a cashier module to manage platform cash flow. This role requires strong expertise in Java, high-performance backend development, and API integrations, with a focus on scalability and reliability within an Agile SAFe environment., * Design and develop high-quality Java-based applications.

• Create detailed technical specifications for applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Ensure applications meet performance and scalability requirements.
• Work closely with other teams to ensure the end product meets the client’s needs.
• Monitor application performance and provide optimization recommendations.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Strong experience with the Spring Framework.
• Practical knowledge of software design patterns and data structures.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
• Knowledge of application architecture principles.
• Understanding of JMM and GC.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful web services and API design.
• Fluency in Spanish is mandatory.
• English level at least at B2 level.
