Lead Engineer, Data Centers

Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer, Data Centers to oversee mission-critical infrastructure within a global real estate portfolio. You will manage day-to-day operations of power, cooling, and building systems, ensuring uptime, safety, and compliance. Partner with property, facility, and project teams to plan maintenance, upgrades, and capacity expansions. Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, analyze performance data, and lead incident response. Mentor engineers and vendors, enforce standards, and support high-profile clients in a performance-driven, innovative culture., * Lead daily operations of critical data center power, cooling, and building systems to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, testing, and lifecycle replacement of critical infrastructure.
• Coordinate with property, facility, and project teams on capacity planning, upgrades, and new data center initiatives.
• Monitor performance using BMS/DCIM tools, analyze trends, and implement improvements for efficiency and resilience.
• Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives aligned with JLL and client ESG goals.
• Manage vendors and service providers, ensuring adherence to scope, SLAs, budgets, and safety standards.
• Develop and enforce engineering procedures, incident response plans, and regulatory compliance programs.
• Lead and mentor engineering staff, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support client-facing reporting, audits, and technical presentations for high-profile data center clients.
• Respond to critical incidents and coordinate rapid troubleshooting, recovery, and root cause analysis.
