Job description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our data analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating raw business data into scalable, interactive, and visually compelling dashboards and reports. You will work closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to bridge the gap between business needs and technical data solutions, empowering leadership to drive data-backed decisions., * Dashboard & Report Development: Design, build, and deploy robust, user-friendly Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards.

Data Modeling: Develop clean and efficient data models, establish table relationships, and manage data gateways.
Data Transformation & DAX: Write advanced Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) calculations, measures, and Power Query (M) scripts to shape and clean raw data.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand operational goals and translate them into technical specifications.
Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot, tune, and optimize existing data models, SQL queries, and Power BI reports for optimal load times and performance.
Data Security & Governance: Implement robust row-level security (RLS) models, manage user access permissions, and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
Documentation & Support: Maintain technical documentation for data flows and report logic, and provide ongoing training or troubleshooting support to end-users.

Requirements

Experience: 10+ years of professional experience specializing in business intelligence, data visualization, and Power BI development.
Technical Stack:
Expert-level proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Service, and Report Server.
Strong command of DAX and Power Query.
Solid database fundamentals with advanced proficiency in SQL and relational/multidimensional database design.
Familiarity with the broader Microsoft BI Stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS) is a strong plus.
Analytical Mindset: Strong capability to dissect complex datasets, identify business trends, and present data stories cleanly.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to explain technical insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) is highly desirable.
