Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will focus on designing, building, and maintaining secure and efficient data pipelines and storage solutions aligned with our enterprise vision. Your high-quality, well-modelled data will drive analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives. You will have ongoing opportunities to grow your skills while making impactful contributions within the platform., * Develop, manage and optimize scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks, supporting both batch and real-time data processing.

• Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Build robust, high-quality data models that support analytics, AI use cases, reporting and other enterprise applications.
• Develop and refine semantic data models and reports in Power BI to enable deeper business insights.
• Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and security and automation specialists to deliver end-to-end data solutions that meet enterprise standards and strategic objectives.
• Stay up to date with data engineering trends and apply relevant practices, tools and frameworks to keep the data platform scalable, secure and future-ready.

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related area (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Medior (3+ years) experience in data engineering.
• Proficient with Azure data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Data Lake.
• Comfortable with a programming language used in data contexts (e.g. Python, SQL, DAX).
• Fundamental understanding of data modelling and data transformation techniques.
• Eager to showcase your developments through DevOps practices with Azure DevOps.
• Experience with analytics and visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
• You have basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, end-user devices, networking and ticketing systems.
