Job description

This is a development position within the Technology organization responsible for building and supporting modern software solutions leveraging Python, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and emerging AI technologies.
The role will contribute to the development of Agentic AI solutions, MCP integrations, and distributed application platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers, architects, and business partners to deliver scalable and secure applications while adhering to established engineering and governance standards., * As a Software Engineer, you will:
Design, develop, test, and support Python-based applications and services.
Build and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations.
Contribute to development of Agentic AI workflows and MCP-enabled application components.
Implement integrations between AI models, enterprise systems, and business applications.
Develop reusable services and components following enterprise engineering standards.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
Implement monitoring, logging, and operational controls to ensure service reliability.
Contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
Work with messaging and event-streaming technologies to support asynchronous processing.
Collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze requirements and develop technical solutions.
Support issue resolution, performance tuning, and application enhancements.
Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.
Follow established security, governance, and risk management standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related STEM field.
2-5 years of experience developing applications using Python.
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices development.
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms.
Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python frameworks.
Knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Experience working in Linux environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to Agentic AI frameworks, MCP, LLMs, and GenAI solutions.
Familiarity with Kafka, MQ, or event-streaming platforms.
Experience with cloud platforms and container technologies.
Banking, risk management, or financial services experience.
Understanding of distributed systems, observability, and platform monitoring., * Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience in a STEM-related field. Advanced degree preferred.
