Job description

Test Planning & Execution:
Develop and execute detailed test plans for Protection & Control (P&C) systems.
Validate P&C system performance, safety, and reliability against specified requirements.
Testing Procedures & Methodologies:
Implement and manage testing procedures, tools, and methodologies for comprehensive evaluation of P&C systems.
Evaluate systems in various scenarios and conditions to ensure thorough testing.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with design engineers, developers, and product managers to understand system functionalities.
Derive accurate and meaningful test criteria based on system requirements.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze test data to identify deviations, anomalies, or issues in system performance.
Provide detailed reports and feedback to stakeholders.
Recommend modifications, enhancements, and updates to P&C systems based on test results and analysis.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure testing activities comply with relevant regulatory standards, industry practices, and organizational quality assurance protocols.
Create comprehensive documentation of test protocols, results, analyses, and recommendations.
Facilitate transparent communication and future reference through thorough documentation.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostic Support:
Participate in troubleshooting and diagnostic activities to identify and resolve issues discovered during testing.
Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate solutions to performance issues.
Equipment Maintenance & Calibration:
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing outcomes.
Continuous Improvement:
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to refine testing methodologies.
Stay updated with technological advancements and industry trends related to P&C systems and testing.
Relationship Building:
Build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering teams, and/or vendors.

Requirements

3-7 years of related experience
Accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering, Analysis Skills, C Programming Language, Calibration, Communication Skills, Continuous Improvement, Data Analysis, Documentation, Employee Relations, Equipment Maintenance/Repair, Identify Issues, Industry Standards, Industry/Trade Analysis, Problem Solving Skills, Quality Assurance, Quality Assurance Methodology, Regulations, Reporting Skills, System Test, Technical/Engineering Design, Test Data, Test Equipment, Test Plan/Schedule, Testing
