Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead (SC or DV Cleared)SC Cleared | Hybrid | ContractWe’re supporting a major UK government technology programme that is expanding its engineering capability as part of a large-scale cloud and digital transformation.We’re looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join a high-performing Agile engineering team responsible for delivering modern cloud-native applications, secure digital services and operational platforms.This is not a traditional Agile coaching or transformation role. Instead, you’ll become an embedded member of an engineering team, helping Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers and QA Automation Engineers deliver complex technical solutions within a secure government environment.The OpportunityWorking alongside Lead Developers, Product Owners and senior technical stakeholders, you’ll facilitate Agile delivery, improve delivery flow and help engineering teams deliver high-quality software at pace.The environment is collaborative, technically focused and built around modern engineering practices, continuous delivery and cloud-native software development.What You’ll Be DoingFacilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.Work closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritise backlogs.Improve ticket quality and sprint readiness.Remove blockers and manage dependencies across engineering teams.Support delivery planning, forecasting and reporting.Help teams continuously improve delivery performance and Agile maturity.Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers and QA Automation Engineers to improve delivery flow.Balance Agile ways of working with the governance and assurance requirements associated with secure government delivery.Technology EnvironmentWhilst this isn’t a hands-on technical role, you’ll be supporting engineering teams working across:AWS CloudPythonServerless ArchitectureAWS LambdaStep FunctionsREST APIsEvent-Driven SystemsECS
