IT Project Manager

• How do you measure and report project performance to stakeholders?, Role Summary: As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing project management methodology during all phases of the project cycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and lead teams in delivering high-quality software solutions.

1. What are the key responsibilities?

• Develop, track, and manage project budget, plans, timelines, and scope

• Manage project resources and provide guidance and coaching to team members

• Define and document business requirements in collaboration with functional project teams

• Lead teams in the delivery of high-quality software solutions

• Define test plans and ensure defect-free products before User Acceptance Testing

• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing process and develop rollout plans

• Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses

• Ensure appropriate utilization of systems development and project management processes

• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science or engineering

• PMP or PMI certification

• 5-7 years of proven project management experience

• Strong people management and team-building skills

• Ability to assess risk and apply management principles

• Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and collaborate with stakeholders

• Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• MBA or other related advanced degree

• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
