Senior Production Systems Specialist - SAP S/4 HANA

We’re looking for someone who can operate independently in a complex, matrixed environment - leading workshops, making design calls, and driving change without needing to be told what to do next. You’ll help redesign how the business plans, schedules, and executes manufacturing orders across a demanding, build-to-order production environment, working hands-on in SAP S/4HANA (and supporting the legacy SAP ECC environment through transition). You’ll translate operational pain points into practical, scalable solutions and guide the organization through the systems shift.

Responsibilities

Spot inefficiencies in how production is planned and controlled within SAP, then design and implement better ways of working

Own the configuration of complex product structures in SAP - how products are built, sequenced, and routed through the factory, including how engineering changes flow into production

Lead the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, including cutover strategy, readiness planning, and deployment support

Connect SAP production planning with quality systems, shop-floor execution tools (MES), and product data management (PLM)

Run requirements-gathering workshops directly with operations, planning, and IT stakeholders

At least two full-lifecycle SAP implementation, upgrade, or major deployment projects, Strong, hands-on experience with SAP Production Planning in S/4HANA (and ideally ECC), in a made-to-order or configured-product manufacturing environment

Comfort with SAP MRP, detailed scheduling, production versions, routings, and manufacturing master data

Experience integrating SAP production planning with MES and Quality Management

The confidence to run a room, make a call, and move forward with limited hand-holding

Background in precision, high-complexity manufacturing (aerospace, industrial equipment, advanced electronics, or similar) is a strong plus
