Help bring a new generation of battery sensing ICs to market by developing reference systems and supporting customers worldwide.

Specifically, as a Application Engineer in Tessenderlo, your tasks will include:

• Develop and test embedded software and C drivers for microcontrollers
• Develop Python-based evaluation tools and scripts for product testing and data analysis
• Support Tier 1 and Tier 2, on-site and remotely, customers with the implementation and evaluation of Melexis battery sensing products
• Test and debug software and battery sensing products using evaluation boards and laboratory equipment
• Troubleshoot communication and integration issues between software and hardware
• Translate customer feedback into product requirements together with IC design teams

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Embedded Systems or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in Application Engineering, Firmware Engineering or Systems Engineering
• Basic knowledge of Embedded C and an interest in developing software for microcontrollers
• Familiarity with Python, C# or a similar programming language
• Good written and spoken English
• Self-driven, hands-on team player with excellent communication skills, * Diploma: Bachelor - Master
