Requirements

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the IT industry.

Lead the development, deployment, and management of enterprise-level API platforms, focusing on Azure API Management in multi-region environments.
Design, develop, and deploy APIs using Azure API Management and other Azure services.
Extensive hands-on experience with .NET framework, .NET Core, C#, RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL, and integration patterns.
Deep knowledge of Azure services such as Azure API Management, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
Integrate APIs with a variety of on-premises and cloud-based systems and services.
Strong understanding of API security best practices (OAuth, JWT, API keys, Azure Active Directory integration).
Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and related technologies.
Manage API projects end-to-end, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, and deployment.
Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers.
Collaborate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align API strategies with business objectives.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving API-related issues.
Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability; analyze data to drive improvements.
Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps; proficient in version control systems like Git.
Automate development and deployment processes through scripting and automation tools.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.); implement API governance policies and best practices.
Prioritize user experience in API design; incorporate end-user feedback for continuous improvement.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in API and Azure technologies.
Commitment to ongoing professional development through certifications, courses, and workshops.
Preferable experience in banking and financial services domains (investment banking, retail banking, capital markets).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum project environments is desirable.
