SAP Engineering / Admin Consultant

We are seeking experienced SAP Engineering / Administration Consultant to support a major UK defence client within a highly secure operational environment.

The successful candidates will provide practical support across manufacturing, engineering, procurement and resource planning processes, working closely with business users, engineers, planners and technical teams.

Deep SAP functional or technical specialisation is not required, but candidates should have solid practical knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), purchasing/procurement and SAP integration with TeamCenter., * Support SAP-enabled business processes across manufacturing and engineering environments.

• Provide operational and administrative support for MRP and production planning activities.
• Support procurement, purchasing and inventory management processes.
• Investigate and resolve system and process-related issues.
• Support data flows and integration between SAP and associated enterprise systems.
• Assist with SAP and TeamCenter integration and related engineering processes.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to improve processes and operational efficiency.
• Produce and maintain documentation, procedures and operational guidance.
• Support business-critical processes within a highly regulated and secure environment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security and operational procedures.

• Practical experience working with SAP-enabled business processes.
• Understanding of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and production planning.
• Knowledge of SAP purchasing and procurement processes, including purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Experience supporting SAP users and business operations.
• Understanding of manufacturing, engineering or production environments.
• Exposure to TeamCenter / PLM environments.
• Awareness of SAP-to-TeamCenter integration and data exchange.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.

Desirable

• Experience within Defence, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Engineering or Government.
• Previous experience working in highly secure or classified environments.
• Knowledge of engineering change-control processes.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Understanding of secure and regulated operational environments.
