Principal Systems Engineer (Hybrid)

In this position you would:

• Provide system engineering inputs for work products, which includes tasking in the development of requirements, design, integration and fielding of this capability.
• Utilize digital engineering and model-based systems engineering.
• Support the preparation and delivery of technical presentations internally and for customer meetings.
• Perform system integration and test per procedures.
• Perform Data Analysis and scripting.

• Must hold an active Secret security clearance and be eligible to acquire TS/SCI clearance in the future
• BS in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Software or equivalent plus 4 to 6+ years’ experience in the field
• Experience with Systems Engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Ability to integrate software and troubleshoot issues for characterization
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in a laboratory environment.
• Experience with C++, Matlab or Python scripting

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Active Top Secret Clearance with TS/SCI clearance
• Experience performing engineering activities in the development cycle including requirements, design & development, system integration and test.
• Experience in performing software and systems integration and testing.
• Experience in digital engineering and model-based systems engineering
• Ability to integrate software and Knowledge of Linux containers
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence
• Familiarity with RF/SIGINT applications.
• Team player with proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment.
• Experience with Agile development
• Mainly On-site tasking for lab testing
