Field Engineer - Power Market in Jackson

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience \n

• Must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship for employment to begin or continue employment with our company \n

• Knowledge of construction safety and current OSHA standards \n

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and owner specifications \n

• Familiarity with project scheduling and cost control techniques \n

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Hard Dollar, Revit, SAP, Pro Log or Primavera “P6” is a plus \n

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills \n

• Strong written and verbal communications skills \n

• Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies \n

• Highly motivated with strong work ethic and a commitment to getting the job done right \n

• Able to work independently and part of a collaborative environment

• Collaborate with a dynamic team to build, estimate, and schedule, mechanical, electrical, and heavy industrial construction projects \n

• Prepare detailed work plans and schedules to guide project execution \n

• Ensure quality control, manage and track costs, purchase and manage materials, and maintain schedule and equipment logistics \n

• Administer safety programs with strict adherence to Kiewit’s “Nobody Gets Hurt” philosophy \n

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with owners and stakeholders \n

• Support both administrative and field operations: review drawings/specs, perform material takeoffs, and prepare cost estimates \n

• Supervise subcontractors, coordinate with vendors, and uphold high construction standards \n, * Physically able to navigate active construction site in varying climates and conditions \n

• Willingness to relocate and travel as required \n
