Job description

Join J. J. Keller as a QA Automation Engineer and play a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions. In this position, you’ll design and maintain automated testing frameworks, collaborate with development teams, and help drive innovation and continuous improvement across our software development lifecycle., * Designs and implements automated testing frameworks to facilitate efficient testing processes.

  • Writes and maintains automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, SpecFlow.
  • Works closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test cases/ test plans.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues and drive continuous improvement in the testing process.
  • Analyzes test results and provides meaningful feedback to stakeholders.
  • Integrates automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent testing during the development lifecycle.
  • Stays current with industry trends and emerging tools and technologies in test automation; and makes recommendations on how to best utilize new technologies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years software QA Experience using automation tools.
  • Experience with automated testing tools - Selenium, SpecFlow, Appium strongly preferred., * Associate’s degree in a Computer Science or technology-related field. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • In lieu of degree, may consider a combination of education and related work experience.
  • Certification in Software Testing or Test Automation a plus.

Computer Skills:

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in C#, Java, python, or other similar languages.
  • Automation Tools: Selenium, NUnit, Appium, SpecFlow preferred.
  • Version Control Systems: Git or similar tools for code management.
  • Knowledge of database concepts for a SQL or NoSQL database.

Other Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Continuous integration and Continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to function both independently and as part of a team focused on specific deliverables and objectives.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, STLC and BDD a plus.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time.
