• This position presents a high-growth opportunity to be part of a dynamic engineering team that owns the technical and architectural domains of our web platform domain.
• You will be part of an AGILE SCRUM team, responsible for running and scaling our web site and other web products.
• You will be collaborating closely with everyone around you including our product team and other stakeholders to complete sprint and triage commitments.
• You will actively participate and support making key technical decisions, documenting technical and improving processes as we revamp and reshape the services we provide.
• Your role will be pivotal in guiding technical designs and ensuring the successful implementation of your team’s roadmap.

• Engineering Expertise: 3+ years of experience building, maintaining, and scaling highly available, performant web platforms with Java (or similar) and deep expertise in ReactJS and NodeJS for modular, modern web applications.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, version control with Git, and designing and implementing complex cloud solutions (preferably AWS).

About the team:

You’ll be working on the Web Platform team that is responsible for the content management architecture at SmartAsset. This team is building the future content management systems to create, serve, and innovate on the financial information that attracts our users and has built our brand.
