Cybersecurity Analyst

We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join a leading international cybersecurity organization in Belgium. You’ll work alongside experienced security professionals, using modern technologies and security frameworks to detect, investigate, and respond to cyber incidents., As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring security environments, investigating potential threats, and supporting customers during security incidents., * Triage and investigate alerts generated by SIEM, EDR/endpoint protection, network detection, and other security tools

• Conduct threat hunting investigations and campaigns
• Escalate relevant threats to customers and provide actionable security advice
• Identify anomalies and attack patterns across the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Support customers during security incidents and contribute to effective incident response
• Continuously improve detection rules, processes, and investigation methodologies
• Support onboarding projects for new customers
• Prepare and deliver monthly security reports on customer environments

Are you passionate about cybersecurity, threat detection, and defending organizations against evolving cyber threats?, * Full professional proficiency in English

• Conversational knowledge of Dutch and French
• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Engineering, or equivalent industry-recognized certification/relevant experience
• Initial hands-on experience in Cyber Security Operations, ideally within a Blue Team/SOC environment
• Understanding of:
• Threat hunting
• Incident detection & response
• Penetration testing concepts
• Malware analysis
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
• Customer-oriented mindset and ability to communicate technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Structured, process-oriented approach with strong attention to detail
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and security solutions

Nice to Have

• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, sandboxing, honeypots, or endpoint protection
• Knowledge of AI and security automation
• Cybersecurity/SOC-related certifications
