Job description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Salesforce Administrator to take ownership of the day-to-day administration, optimisation and development of our Salesforce CRM platform. Working closely with teams across the business, you’ll translate requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions, maintain data quality and security, and deliver enhancements through configuration and automation. You’ll provide user support, troubleshoot issues, manage testing and releases, and help drive adoption of Salesforce best practices. This is a hands-on mid-level role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and balancing BAU support with project delivery. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how Salesforce is used across the business and help ensure the platform remains reliable, well-governed and able to scale with our growth

You will report directly to the Head of Engineering and collaborate with various teams and senior stakeholders across Alpha.

How We Work

As a Salesforce Administrator, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

  • Assigned workspace in our designated London, UK office location
  • Company-issued equipment
  • Formal, hands-on training

Role Responsibilities

Your responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Managing and maintaining Salesforce CRM, including users, roles, permission sets, objects, fields, layouts, record types and validation rules.

  • Building and optimising declarative automation using Salesforce Flow, focusing on scalable, maintainable solutions and a strong user experience.

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, map processes and translate business needs into practical Salesforce solutions.

  • Owning day-to-day user support and troubleshooting, identifying root causes and resolving or escalating issues appropriately.

  • Maintain data quality and governance through imports and exports, cleansing, deduplication and ongoing integrity controls.

  • Design and maintain reports and dashboards that provide accurate, actionable business insight.

  • Managing changes through sandboxes, testing and UAT, release planning and deployment, with clear documentation and controls.

  • Support integrations, connected apps and AppExchange products, working with technical teams and third parties to resolve issues.

  • Administer security and access using least-privilege principles, including regular reviews of permissions and sharing.

  • Creating user guidance, process documentation and training, supporting onboarding and adoption of Salesforce best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce technical debt and improve platform performance, usability and scalability.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role, with demonstrable ownership of BAU administration and platform enhancements.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM administration and configuration, including the data model, security and access, automation, reports and dashboards.

  • Proven experience with Salesforce Flow and declarative automation, with the ability to design robust solutions and troubleshoot existing automations.

  • Strong data-management skills, including imports and exports, cleansing, data-quality controls and confident use of tools such as Data Loader.

  • Experience with sandbox management, testing and UAT, and the controlled release and deployment of Salesforce changes.

  • Good understanding of integrations, APIs, connected apps and AppExchange packages, with the ability to work effectively with developers or vendors on technical issues.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail, and the ability to balance BAU support with planned project work.

  • Excellent stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering skills, with the ability to explain Salesforce concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and work cross-functionally in an Agile environment.

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator is preferred; additional Salesforce certifications and familiarity with SOQL, Apex and Lightning components are beneficial but not essential.

Benefits & conditions

  • Option to buy or sell up to 5 days of annual leave annually through the benefits enrolment window
  • Pension scheme with a minimum 3% employee contribution and up to 5% employer contribution from Corpay
  • Private Medical Insurance through Vitality with no excess payable by employees; Corpay covers the standard £250 excess charge
  • Life Insurance
  • Access to the Gratitudes benefits platform, offering flexible discounts, supermarket savings of 4-5%, and a range of exclusive employee offers
  • Free access to LinkedIn Learning, with thousands of courses to support ongoing professional and personal development
