Software Engineer, New Grad

This is a fullstack software engineering role designed for recent graduates and early-career engineers looking to accelerate their growth by building production systems. You’ll contribute to - and grow into owning - core internal platform capabilities and product features end-to-end.

You’ll work across internal tools, services, workflows, and AI-powered products that support our engineering, operations, and recruiting platforms. As you grow, you’ll take increasing ownership of critical systems while collaborating closely with experienced engineers.

What You’ll Own

1. Contribute to the design and development of end-to-end fullstack systems powering critical internal workflows and platform capabilities.
2. Build clean, maintainable backend services and APIs while learning scalable engineering best practices.
3. Develop high-quality frontend interfaces used by internal teams and end users.
4. Participate in data modeling and database optimization efforts, including schema design and query performance.
5. Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams to translate ideas into reliable, production-ready features.
6. Improve engineering quality through code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
7. Help troubleshoot production issues while learning how to build resilient, observable systems.
8. Develop sound engineering judgment by making thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, scalability, and maintainability., Our hiring process utilizes artificial intelligence tools to assist in candidate screening and assessment. Our AI tools are designed to complement, not replace, human decision-making.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (recent graduate or graduating soon).
2. Internship, co-op, research, or meaningful personal/project experience building software applications.
3. Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
4. Familiarity with frontend development using React or similar frameworks.
5. Familiarity with backend development using Node.js (NestJS is a plus).
6. Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and core data modeling principles.
7. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and how distributed applications communicate.
8. Exposure to Git and modern software development workflows.
9. Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.
10. Excited to learn quickly and contribute in a fast-moving engineering environment.

Preferred

1. Internship or professional software engineering experience.
2. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
3. Familiarity with CI/CD, deployment pipelines, or DevOps fundamentals.
4. Exposure to modern architectures such as microservices, serverless, or event-driven systems.
5. Interest in AI-powered products, workflow automation, or data-intensive applications.
6. Experience contributing to team projects, hackathons, open-source software, or startup environments.

The national pay range for this full-time position is base salary of $110,000 -$150,000 USD. All employees are eligible for equity compensation, and employees may also receive performance-based bonuses, dependent on role and subject to company policies.
