Job description
- An exciting opportunity for an Operational Support Technician I to join our Manufacturing team.
- This is a temporary contract. It is anticipated that the role will be effective from October 2026 to August 2027.
- This is a shift-based role, working Wednesday-Saturday. This may include ad-hoc evening and weekend shifts.
- You’ll be responsible for performing controlled cleaning of laboratories, clean room facilities and equipment.
- Performing inventory checks and restocking materials when required.
- Assisting the direct Manufacturing team during cell therapy processing, including labelling of vials, accurately recording data and transferring materials into the manufacturing area.
- Operating and monitoring equipment such as incubators and storage vessels.
- Processing and disposing of laboratory waste.
- Manage laundry for cleanroom garments and lab coats.
- Schedule and conduct equipment maintenance.
Requirements
Ideally, you will have experience of working within a GMP clean room environment, however it is not required. We welcome applications from those who have experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment who can demonstrate enthusiasm, drive, strong communication skills, and ability to stay organised in a fast-paced setting. We also welcome applicants with:
- Good computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines and deliver results.
- Work effectively within a small team., * Ideally, the candidate will hold a HNC in Life Sciences or related subject. We welcome applicants with equivalent training and experience.
