Job description

  1. Set up, configure, and image laptops, desktops, tablets, Chromebooks, and peripherals.
  2. Install, maintain, and update hardware and software systems.
  3. Monitor and maintain technology inventory, asset tags, and related documentation.
  4. Provide Help Desk support and troubleshoot hardware, software, audio-visual, printing, and connectivity issues.
  5. Perform hardware diagnostics and basic component repairs; escalate complex problems to senior IT staff as needed.
  6. Provide support and troubleshooting for Google Workspace for Education and Chromebook devices.
  7. Assist end users with routine technical questions, in-classroom technology use, and testing setups.
  8. Maintain technology support logs and user documentation.
  9. Stay current with emerging technology trends through training, technical materials, and workshops.
  10. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  1. High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred
  2. 1-2 years of IT or tech support experience
  3. Working knowledge of school-based technology and support procedures, 1. Google Suite
  4. Windows and ChromeOS
  5. Microsoft Office
  6. Printing
  7. Asset Management (Learn21)
  8. Desktop Imaging
  9. Interpersonal Skills
  10. Technical troubleshooting and repair knowledge
  11. Strong attention to detail
  12. Good communication and teamwork skills
  13. Ability to learn and adapt to new systems
