The selected consultant will be responsible for developing Power Apps solutions (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), creating automated workflows using Power Automate, building reports and dashboards using Power BI, implementing Dataverse solutions, and integrating Power Platform applications with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and external enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong Microsoft Power Platform development expertise, business process automation experience, integration capabilities, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and user-friendly enterprise solutions. The consultant will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project teams, system administrators, developers, and City departments throughout the full solution lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, support, and optimization.Experience* 5+ years of Application Development or Business Solutions Development experience. * 3+ years of Microsoft Power Platform development experience. * Experience developing Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Power Apps. * Experience developing automated workflows using Power Automate. * Experience creating Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. * Experience implementing and managing Microsoft Dataverse solutions. * Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online. * Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 services. * Experience integrating external data sources, APIs, and enterprise systems. * Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. * Experience performing testing, debugging, performance tuning, and deployment activities. * Experience providing end-user support, training, and technical documentation.Skills* Strong Power Apps development expertise. * Strong Power Automate workflow development skills. * Strong Power BI reporting and dashboard development skills. * Strong Dataverse design and administration knowledge. * Strong business process automation experience. * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. * Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem. * Experience with API integrations and data connectivity. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
