Endpoint Engineer

The Endpoint Engineer is a strategic technical role focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable endpoint solutions. This role is responsible for maintaining endpoint health and compliance with organizational policies, while leading automation initiatives and collaborating with InfoSec and IT teams to enhance endpoint security posture.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and maintain advanced endpoint management solutions (e.g., Intune Jamf).

· Automate software deployment patching, configuration changes, and policy enforcement.

· Ensure endpoints meet encryption, antivirus, and patch management standards.

· Configure and manage JSM projects, SLAs, request types, automation rules, and workflows.

· Implement advanced automation and integration scripts to streamline support and operations.

· Collaborate with InfoSec to protect endpoints from threats and vulnerabilities.

· Own the development of configuration baselines, automated software deployment pipelines, and patching frameworks.

· Manage and provision AWS Workspaces, including custom image creation.

· Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint-related incidents, acting as technical escalation point.

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

· 3+ years of experience in endpoint management and support

· Strong experience with Jamf, Microsoft Intune, or similar MDM tools.

· Strong knowledge of macOS and Windows operating systems.

· Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and work with multiple deadlines.

· In addition to the interview process, all candidates will need to evidence their initiative, level of analytical reasoning, teamwork and ability to collaborate on projects, adaptability, and strength in verbal and written skills by completing a separate candidate assessment.

· Experience in scripting languages (PowerShell, JQL, SQL, Bash, etc.)
