PC Deployment Technician

Insight Global is seeking a Deployment Technician to join one of our clients’ internal IT teams. This individual will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, imaging, and installation of desktop and laptop equipment across multiple office locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and deploying new hardware, setting up workstations and peripherals, performing device refreshes and equipment replacements, managing inventory, and ensuring users are successfully onboarded with properly configured technology. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience supporting hardware deployments, device imaging, and workstation setup, along with strong organizational and customer service skills. This position offers flexible hours and averages 35 hours per week. Candidates will primarily work onsite throughout the Tampa Bay area, traveling between locations as needed to support technology deployment projects and end-user equipment rollouts.

• 1-2+ years of hands-on Desktop Support or Deployment support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting Windows workstations and laptops
• Experience with hardware setup, deployment, imaging, and device troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience troubleshooting printers, peripherals, docking stations, monitors, and mobile devices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users.
• Experience creating, updating, and resolving tickets in an IT ticketing system.
• Active driver’s license and ability to work onsite and travel between Tampa-area office locations as needed. - CompTIA A+/ ITLL Certifications highly preferred.
