Job description

Support customers by answering technical questions and helping troubleshoot application, configuration, and usage issues
Assist with software setup, testing, and follow-up to help ensure successful customer use of the product
Participate in product demos, training, and technical discussions with customers and teams
Partner with engineering and other internal groups to communicate customer needs, escalate issues, and support solutions
Review product functionality and documentation to help improve usability and accuracy
Manage multiple support items while maintaining strong communication and follow-through

Requirements

The right candidate will have a strong technical foundation along with the ability to communicate clearly in customer-facing situations. This person will help troubleshoot issues, answer product and configuration questions, support demos and training efforts, and relay customer needs internally to help improve product use and overall support., * Experience in an Application Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, SCADA Engineer, Protection Engineer, or similar technical customer-facing role

Background in power systems, substations, SCADA, industrial communications, or related utility environments
Familiarity with TCP/IP and industrial communication protocols; DNP3 or IEC 61850 experience is a plus
Ability to troubleshoot software and technical issues while communicating clearly with customers and internal teams
Experience working in Windows and/or Linux environments; scripting experience such as JavaScript is helpful
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience
