NET Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Programmer Analyst to join an Agile development team supporting the modernization of an enterprise transaction and tolling management platform. This initiative involves a partial platform rewrite leveraging microservices, modular architecture, and cloud integrations.

In this role, you will focus on building robust backend services and APIs using .NET Core and C#, collaborating closely with solution architects, cloud engineers, SQL developers, API specialists, and QA engineers., * Design, develop, and maintain high-performance .NET Core backend services and REST APIs.

• Collaborate with database engineers and SQL developers to design and implement efficient data access patterns.
• Contribute to enterprise modernization initiatives by decomposing legacy components into modular microservices.
• Build new application features while optimizing and maintaining existing functionalities.
• Participate actively in performance tuning and query/service optimization across all application tiers.
• Integrate application components with Azure cloud services and Azure-hosted environments.
• Support CI/CD deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Actively engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience utilizing .NET Core and C#.
• Strong background in building and consuming scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proven experience integrating with SQL Server hosted on Azure VM infrastructure.
• In-depth understanding of object-oriented design principles (OOP), SOLID patterns, and enterprise architectural best practices.
• Direct experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated history working within cross-functional Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience integrating backend systems with data and ETL pipelines (e.g., SSIS, Databricks, or equivalent).
• Excellent debugging, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Practical familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts in distributed systems.
• Experience working in high-availability, fault-tolerant, or mission-critical enterprise environments.
• Exposure to tolling, transportation, logistics, or high-volume transaction processing systems., * Experience developing applications using .NET Core and C# (Required 7 Years)
