Job description

Our client is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer (Azure) to design, deploy, secure, and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure environments. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, high-performance cloud solutions that meet business requirements and security standards., * Design and implement cloud solutions using Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Databases.

Manage and optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance.
Implement security best practices and compliance measures within Azure environments.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions with applications.
Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in cloud computing.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Experience with Azure services including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Databases.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) or Terraform.
Knowledge of networking concepts and Azure networking services.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills., * Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor or Log Analytics.
