This role is focused on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), requirements development and decomposition, system modeling, and software systems engineering throughout the product lifecycle. The selected candidate will work closely with software, integration, and test teams to develop system models, define architectures, and produce engineering artifacts that support mission-critical capabilities., The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with experience using CAMEO and SysML to develop and maintain system models while supporting the delivery of software-based products. This position is best suited for individual contributors who actively perform technical systems engineering work and collaborate directly with development teams., * Develop and maintain Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts using CAMEO Systems Modeler.

• Create, update, and manage SysML diagrams, including use case, activity, sequence, block definition, internal block, state machine, and parametric diagrams.
• Analyze, decompose, allocate, and trace system requirements from customer and operational needs down to subsystem and software requirements.
• Support system architecture development and technical baseline management.
• Utilize Teamwork Cloud to collaborate across engineering teams and manage model repositories.
• Perform system analysis, trade studies, and performance assessments to support design decisions.
• Generate engineering documentation, technical specifications, interface definitions, and supporting artifacts.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support software integration, verification, validation, and test activities.
• Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, and engineering working groups.
• Support the development and delivery of software products within an Agile or iterative development environment.
• Contribute directly to engineering execution and technical deliverables., * Building and maintaining system models.
• Creating and updating SysML diagrams in CAMEO.
• Decomposing and allocating system requirements.
• Producing engineering artifacts and technical documentation.
• Collaborating with software engineers to implement requirements.
• Supporting integration, testing, and verification activities.
• Participating in technical discussions and design reviews.

• Approximately 5 or more years of systems engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience using CAMEO Systems Modeler.
• Strong understanding of SysML and associated diagram types.
• Experience performing requirements decomposition, allocation, and traceability.
• Experience utilizing Teamwork Cloud or similar model collaboration tools.
• Familiarity with software-based systems and software development processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills., * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Approximately 8 or more years of systems engineering experience.
• Advanced experience with CAMEO Systems Modeler and SysML.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining large-scale MBSE models.
• Experience leading technical systems engineering efforts and mentoring junior engineers.
• Strong background in requirements engineering, system architecture development, and systems analysis.
• Experience supporting software-intensive systems throughout the development lifecycle.
• Experience utilizing Teamwork Cloud in collaborative engineering environments.
