Purchase Specialist

Flybridge Staffing is currently seeking a Purchasing Specialist for a client based in the Boca Raton area. This is a ON-SITE contract position that can go from 4- 6 months, potentially up to 12 months, or convert to permanent. The Temporary Purchasing Specialist supports the Procurement team by processing purchase orders (POs), assisting with the creation of requisitions and purchase orders, and ensuring purchasing transactions are accurate and compliant with company policies and contractual requirements., * Create and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.

• Review requisitions and purchase orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company procurement policies.
• Verify purchase orders align with approved contracts, pricing, and vendor terms.
• Respond to inquiries regarding purchasing procedures, order status, and procurement system functionality.
• Provide support and guidance to employees on how to use the company’s procurement system, Coupa.

• Experience creating and processing purchase orders and requisitions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills., * High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, accounts payable, or a related administrative role preferred.
• Familiarity with procurement systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coupa experience preferred.
