ServiceNow Developer

Insight Global is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer / Architect for a top enterprise client. This individual will serve as a senior technical lead and platform architect responsible for the design, development, governance, and technical direction of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on ServiceNow engineering expertise with strong architectural judgment and will lead scalable solutions across ITSM, CMDB, HAM, SAM, integrations, automation, and future platform expansion. This is an opportunity to own technical standards, influence the ServiceNow roadmap, mentor developers, and drive major platform modernization initiatives while remaining hands-on with development and delivery.

7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and platform engineering experience

Experience leading complex ServiceNow implementations and/or architecture decisions

Advanced JavaScript and Glide API expertise

Strong understanding of the ServiceNow data model, ACLs, platform security, and scoped applications

Strong ServiceNow ITSM experience

Experience with CMDB, HAM, and SAM

Hands-on experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub

Experience developing REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise system integrations

Knowledge of MID Server concepts and platform automation

Experience with business rules, script includes, UI actions, workflows, and custom applications

Ability to lead solution architecture, platform governance, and technical delivery while remaining hands-on

Experience with platform upgrades, release controls, troubleshooting, and technical standards

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), particularly ITSM or another relevant module

Experience with additional ServiceNow modules such as CSM, HRSD, SecOps, and ITOM

Git experience

Automated Test Framework (ATF) experience

ServiceNow DevOps tool experience
