Embedded Software Development Engineer

• Development of real time software for electronics systems including algorithm/pre-processing concepts and solutions according to agreed timeline, respecting required quality levels
• Modelling and simulating algorithm behavior
• Supporting component level software requirements analysis
• Elaborating appropriate software architectures
• Designing software on component level
• Coding and testing of software components
• Participating in review of software requirements and software architecture
• Organizing and participating in reviews of software design, code and tests
• Handling configuration management, problem resolution for allocated components, quality audits
• Supporting software process improvements and innovation
• Supporting software coordinators and team leader to plan and execute software projects

• Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
• Working experience with:
• C/C++ (Python is considered an asset)
• MATLAB/Simulink, Model Driven Development
• Object Oriented Analysis and Design (UML)
• Knowledge of
• Software architecture
• Micro-controller hardware and peripherals
• Requirement managing tools (e.g. IBM Doors, Polarion)
• Automotive processes and quality standards (SPICE, ASIL, HIS, MISRA)
• Functional safety standards like ISO 26262
• Cyber security standards like ISO/SAE 21434
• Working with Radar or capacitive technologies is considered an asset
• Excellent communication, analytical and team working skills
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory, German or French is considered an asset
