Job description

You’ll be working on modern, scalable software across C#/.NET, AWS, APIs, event-driven architecture and distributed systems, with genuine scope to influence how the platform evolves. The business is also embracing AI-assisted engineering, giving developers access to modern tools and approaches to build better software, faster., * Act as a Technical lead, Mentoring other Engineers and performing code Reviews

Build and maintain production software using C# and .NET.
Develop backend services, APIs and event-driven applications.
Work with PostgreSQL and AWS cloud technologies.
Contribute to microservices, integrations and distributed systems.
Support UI development using Blazor where required.
Write automated tests and participate in peer code reviews.
Troubleshoot issues and support production systems.
Translate requirements into technical tasks and contribute to delivery estimates.
Use AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, as part of the development process.

Requirements

Commercial Software Engineering experience with C# and .NET
Experience working as a Senior/Lead engineer acting as a technical Lead
Experience building backend services and REST APIs.
Understanding of event-driven, asynchronous or service-based architectures.
Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
Experience with automated testing, source control and code reviews.
Ability to work from technical documentation and requirements.
Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools., * Microservices.
AWS Lambda, ECS or EC2.
Blazor / MudBlazor.
CI/CD.
Docker.
Observability, logging and monitoring.
Secure coding and resilient application development.
