VMware Infrastructure Architect - DV Clearance Required - 6 Month Contract (rolling) - £550-£650 per day - Hampshire, 5 days on site
FryerMiles is supporting a leading Defence Technology prime on the recruitment of an experienced VMware Infrastructure Architect for a critical UK Defence programme.
The successful candidate will design and implement VMware-based IaaS solutions across VMware Cloud Foundation, Cloud Director and NSX-T., * Design and implement VMware-based IaaS solutions.
- Configure and optimise VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
- Configure NSX-T networking and security.
- Deploy and manage VMware Cloud Director (VCD).
- Design air-gapped patching and update capabilities.
- Support technical design, testing and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Strong VMware infrastructure architecture experience.
- VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
- VMware Cloud Director (VCD).
- NSX-T and VMware vSphere.
- VMware Aria Operations / vRealize.
- PowerShell and/or Python automation.
- Experience with secure, enterprise VMware environments.
Desirable:
- VCD-A, VRO, Omnissa Horizon VDI and VMware VCP/VCAP certification.
