Cybersecurity Engineer

• Performs a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized Cybersecurity problems.

• Tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, or technology problems as they relate to cybersecurity requirements.

• Analyzes information security requirements.

• Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of work flow , organization, and planning.

• Provides security engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, integration of information systems., * Work schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday - Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.

• Ten (10) years of relevant IT experience.

• Five (5) years of relevant Operation Technology.

Certifications

• DoD 8570 IAT Level III Baseline Certification:

• CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner with Continuing Education (CASP+ CE)

• Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security)

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional ( CISSP or Associate)

• GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)

• GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

And

• Information Assurance System Architect and Engineering (IASAE Level III) (within 6 months of contract start):

• CISSP-ISSAP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional - Information Systems Security Architecture Professional)

• CISSP-ISSEP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional - Information Systems Security Engineering Professional)

• CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)

And one or more of the following:

• Microsoft Certified solutions Associate or Expert.

• Cisco Certified Network Administrator.

• Microsoft Azure Security Technologies.

• Amazon Certified Security.

Clearance

• Secret - IT II (Tier 3) Non-Critical Sensitive Clearance, While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to grip, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
