Job description

  • Design end-to-end technical solutions for cybersecurity applications
  • Work on large-scale (petabyte) data platforms
  • Create architecture documents (HLDs / LLDs)
  • Evaluate and standardise open-source technologies
  • Collaborate with engineering and governance teams
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Experience in solution design / architecture
  • Strong background in big data tools (Spark, Airflow, Trino, etc.)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles (IAM, encryption, secure design)
  • Ability to work hands-on when required (coding / troubleshooting), * Experience working on large-scale data platforms
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Interest or experience in cybersecurity

Benefits & conditions

Rate: A daily rate, in-scope IR35 £530 per day (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company). Work Schedule: 3 days onsite/week Team: Strategy and Governance, Cyber Sciences and Analytics, Cybersecurity
