product and support to understand real customer problems and shape pragmatic solutions.Requirements (mid-level)Around 3-5 years of professional software development in a team environment.Practical experience building or operating services on Azure (for example App Service, Functions, Azure SQL, Storage, Service Bus, or similar).Either:Strong evidence you can pick it up quickly; we will invest in your Salesforce ramp up and this will become a big part of your work.Genuine interest in AI and experience using AI tools to assist with coding, testing, or design.Comfortable with automated testing, Git, pull requests, and working in an Agile team.Excellent debugging skills, high attention to detail, and clear communication.Eligible to work fulltime in the UK and able to commute to central Reading at least 3 days per week.Nice to haveHands-on experience with Azure in production: deploying apps, configuring resources, and understanding cost and monitoring.Experience with microservice or event-driven architectures on Azure (e.g. Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid).Home Assistant experience: building automations, custom integrations, or addons, especially where you’ve treated it like a "real" software platform.Evidence of being an IT hobbyist: side projects, opensource, home lab, or automation setups.Our cultureWe are a close-knit team and value every employee.
