Data Build Tool (dbt) Google Bigquery Looker Analytics Data Pipelines

Job description

Design, build, test, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines from raw source systems to business-ready analytical datasets.
Build clean, tested, documented, and modular data transformation pipelines using dbt and Google BigQuery.
Write and maintain clean, scalable Python scripts to extract data from third-party APIs, handle custom ingestion, and orchestrate workflows.
Build intuitive reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards in Data Studio / Metabase to empower commercial, product, and marketing teams.
Serve as a bridge between software engineers, product managers, and commercial stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
Proactively identify data discrepancies, performance bottlenecks, and architectural improvements to keep our data platform resilient and scalable.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), in particular BigQuery, Cloud Run, DataSteam.
Proficiency in dbt (data build tool), including testing, documentation, and dimensional/modular modeling.
Solid Python skills for data extraction, automation, and pipeline orchestration.
Experience designing reporting models and dashboards in Looker / Data Studio / Metabase.
Advanced SQL skills (window functions, query optimization, cost management in BigQuery)
Prior experience working in a fast-paced scale-up, e-commerce, subscription, or consumer-facing business is a plus.
