Anaplan Solutions Architect

As an Anaplan Solutions Architect, you will design and deliver enterprise planning solutions that help organizations improve decision-making, planning accuracy, and operational performance. Working closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams, you’ll translate complex planning requirements into scalable Anaplan architectures that support long-term business growth.

Solution Architecture & Design

• Architect scalable Anaplan solutions that align business objectives with enterprise planning strategies.

• Design solution architecture, model structures, data flows, security, and system configurations following Anaplan best practices.

• Translate business processes into technical designs, configuration strategies, and implementation roadmaps.

• Ensure solution scalability, maintainability, and long-term performance across client environments.

Client Delivery & Consulting

• Lead discovery sessions to understand business requirements and define implementation strategies.

• Guide clients through solution design, data mapping, testing, deployment, and user acceptance activities.

• Identify delivery risks, requirement gaps, and technical dependencies while driving successful project outcomes.

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to deliver planning solutions that support measurable business outcomes.

Technical Leadership

• Serve as the technical authority throughout the implementation lifecycle, providing guidance on architecture, configuration, integrations, and best practices.

• Mentor consultants and model builders to strengthen delivery quality and technical capability across project teams.

• Contribute to design standards, implementation methodologies, and reusable solution assets.

• Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the Anaplan practice.

Planning Innovation & Business Growth

• Support solution demonstrations, client workshops, and pre-sales activities by presenting planning capabilities and architectural approaches.

• Collaborate on project planning, prioritization, scope definition, timelines, and delivery milestones.

• Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve existing planning models and solution performance.

• You take ownership of your work while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful outcomes., Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• 2-4+ years of experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management solutions using Anaplan.

• Experience working in consulting or project delivery environments using structured implementation methodologies.

• Anaplan Solution Architect certification or Master Anaplanner certification preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Anaplan model building and enterprise solution design.

• Experience with multidimensional modeling, financial planning, analytics, or business intelligence solutions.

• Knowledge of business process analysis, requirements gathering, and technical documentation.

• Experience supporting data mapping, security configuration, integrations, system testing, and user acceptance testing.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and project coordination skills.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Financial Consolidation, Financial Reporting, Sales Performance Management, Supply Chain Planning, Enterprise Operational Planning, or Management Reporting.

• Experience working within Agile or other Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

• Knowledge of SQL, ANSI SQL, MySQL, Oracle PL/SQL, PartiQL, AWS, or SAS.

• Experience with ETL platforms such as Informatica, SnapLogic, or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

• Familiarity with Sales Performance Management solutions.

• Experience contributing to pre-sales activities, RFP responses, and solution demonstrations.

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
