Technical Analyst

Baxter International is seeking a Senior EDI Analyst to join a cross-functional team supporting the development, testing, and deployment of a new revenue management system.

This role will play an important part in EDI initiatives, customer onboarding, process improvement, and technical solutions, while partnering closely with IT, business teams, suppliers, customers, and other key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, highly responsible, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a strong service mindset and collaborative approach.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and/or support the development and implementation of key EDI initiatives.
• Support the development, testing, and deployment of solutions related to the new revenue management system.
• Support customer onboarding and related EDI activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement technical solutions.
• Collaborate with IT business partners, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders on key initiatives and projects.
• Ensure data standards and processes comply with HIPAA, DSCSA, GS1, and industry requirements.
• Support EDI data exchange and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Maintain accurate and complete technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities for technical skill development and process enhancements.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
• 5-7 years of EDI experience.
• At least 1 year of customer-facing or customer service experience.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data exchange and industry compliance requirements.

• Experience with EDI standards and languages such as: *

• ANSI X12
• XML / UBL
• HTML
• Experience with EDI software and EDI mapping tools.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong team-oriented and service-focused mindset.
