AWS Security Engineer - Senior Associate

Designing and implementing secure IT systems to support business operations and optimize performance

• Integrating development, operations, and security practices to validate consistent and efficient software delivery
• Bridging the gap between development and security teams for seamless application development
• Utilizing AWS CloudFormation and Terraform for infrastructure automation and management
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and implementing security controls to mitigate risks
• Managing security incident tracking and remediation processes to maintain system reliability
• Collaborating with teams to enhance cybersecurity measures using tools like CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks
• Developing and deploying scalable solutions using Jenkins and GitLab for continuous integration and deployment
• Analyzing complex data to inform insights and recommendations for infrastructure improvements
• Upholding professional and technical standards in line with the firm’s code of conduct and independence requirements

At least a Bachelor’s degree or, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience for each missing year of college is required

• At least 3 years of experience

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics/Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Robotics, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics

-At least one of the following: AWS Security Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or, Industry security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH)

• Demonstrating proficiency in AWS CloudFormation and Terraform
• Demonstrating proficiency in AWS CloudFormation and Terraform
• Utilizing Python for security engineering and incident management
• Managing security infrastructure implementation and troubleshooting
• Excelling in analytical thinking and problem-solving within DevSecOps
• Building meaningful client connections in complex environments

The salary range for this position is: $95,000 - $106,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
