• Silicon bench evaluation
• Firmware development for power management systems

Analog Devices’ Cloud and Data Center Equipment Business Unit is seeking a motivated and experienced Application Engineer / System Design to join our Power System Management Solutions team based in San Jose, California., The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with a strong foundation in power electronics and embedded systems, demonstrated expertise in firmware development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers. This position requires a combination of technical depth and system-level thinking to help drive the successful development and adoption of ADI’s power system management solutions., * BSEE with 2+ years of experience, or MSEE

• Fundamentals on power electronics
• Experience with microcontroller-based systems and firmware development
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming
• Experience with lab equipment
• Coding experience in Python or similar scripting languages, * MSEE with 3+ years of experience focused on embedded systems
• Knowledge on power management ICs
• Strong experience with firmware debugging and development tools
• Solid understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design
• Experience with hardware debug/troubleshooting
• PCB design experience
• Excellent presentation and technical writing skills
• Simulation tools Simplis or LTSpice or MATLAB
• Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB or similar scripting languages
• Experience with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, PMBus)

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $100,266 to $137,892.

• Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
• This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
