Data Analyst

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, SQL, and Microsoft Fabric to support analytics, reporting, and operational data needs.
• Develop robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes that efficiently move and transform data from source systems (ERP, scheduling, cost management, etc.) into centralized data stores and reporting models.
• Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models, ensuring that Power BI and other visualization tools have the necessary structures for accurate, timely insights.
• Manage and maintain the integrity, accuracy, and performance of data within data warehouses, data lakes, and staging environments.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, data flow diagrams, transformation logic, metadata, and data lineage.
• Automate recurring data workflows and monitoring tasks, leveraging modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems such as Git.
• Monitor production data pipelines for performance bottlenecks, failed jobs, or data quality issues, and proactively resolve them in collaboration with operations and analytics stakeholders.
• Partner with QA and testing teams to develop data validation strategies, ensuring proper test coverage and the resolution of defects prior to production deployment.
• Collaborate with system administrators, database engineers, and cloud architects to ensure scalability, security, and reliability of data solutions.
• Enforce and promote data governance, privacy, and security best practices, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Participate in cross-functional project teams, providing technical input on data dependencies, system integration, and analytics enablement.
• Mentor and support junior data engineers, sharing expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and design principles.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies in data engineering, analytics, and cloud infrastructure, recommending improvements to enhance system efficiency and analytical capability.
• Contribute to the standardization of tools, processes, and methodologies across WWPS’s data and analytics teams to drive consistency and quality.
• Assist with data migration and transformation efforts during system upgrades or platform transitions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations., Work is primarily performed in the field, with a small portion of the work in the office (80% field, 20% office)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in construction coordination or project management.
• Knowledge and experience in LEAN construction practices.
• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

The salary range for this full-time role is $82,700.00-$110,300.01 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. World Wide Professional Solutions reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
