Job description

We are looking for an Automation & Systems Engineer to support industrial automation, digital systems, and continuous improvement projects in a production environment., * Program, maintain, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs

Develop and maintain HMI/SCADA systems
Support industrial instrumentation and control systems
Develop internal applications using Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Google Apps Script
Configure and maintain industrial networks
Work with VFDs, control loops, and plant automation systems
Troubleshoot equipment and control system issues to minimize downtime
Lead automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement projects
Provide technical support and training to production and operations teams
Maintain technical documentation, backups, and version control
Support food safety, quality, and safety requirements

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Bilingual English/Spanish required
Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial programming, plant operating systems, or internal application development
Experience with Allen-Bradley Studio 5000/RSLogix and Siemens TIA Portal
Experience with FactoryTalk View and/or WinCC
Knowledge of industrial networks such as EtherNet/IP, Profinet, or Modbus
Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and PID control
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
Strong communication and documentation skills
Must be willing to travel for training, corporate meetings, and supplier support
Must be available to work different shifts when required for projects, scheduled shutdowns, or critical equipment failures
Experience with SQF, HACCP, GMP, NFPA 70E, and Lockout/Tagout is a plus
