Data Architect / Data Strategy Lead

Job Summary: We are looking for a Data Strategy Lead to drive enterprise data strategy, target-state architecture, and data roadmaps across Commercial, Consumer, Mortgage, and Business Lending. The role will focus on data architecture, governance, risk management, Customer 360, and credit risk data solutions. Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of canonical data models across the credit lifecycle, including Loan Origination, Servicing, and Collections. Design Master Data Management (MDM) solutions to support a unified Customer 360 view, including party hierarchies and relationship data. Develop data structures for credit risk modeling, collateral tracking, and aggregate exposure management. Design modern Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures using AWS and Azure. Develop streaming architectures, APIs, and real-time data pipelines for credit decisioning and point-of-sale processing. Drive data governance, data quality, metadata management, and end-to-end

data lineage. Support regulatory reporting and compliance requirements, including CCAR, CECL, IFRS 9, and Basel. Ensure enterprise data security, privacy, and data protection requirements are followed. Work with executive stakeholders to align data and technology strategies with business objectives. Required Skills 5-7 years of relevant data strategy, architecture, or data management experience. Strong knowledge of Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Services Cloud, and Customer 360 ecosystems. Experience with data architecture, governance, security, privacy, and data protection. Strong understanding of analytics, reporting, and AI/ML data principles. Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud data platforms. Knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance frameworks, including CCAR, Basel, IFRS 9, and CECL. Experience with credit lifecycle data, lending, or financial services data environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with DevOps practices and tools. Experience with modern data platforms, APIs, streaming, and real-time data pipelines. Certifications in data management or cloud platforms. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
