Senior DevSecOps Software Engineer

• Oversees establishment and maintenance of modern software development environments, with formalized processes for development, implementation, integration, testing, documenting, and deploying software changes
• Works collaboratively with software engineering teams to deploy and operate systems
• Oversees development and maintenance of continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Oversees automation and streamlining of operations and processes that support software testing, including script development as needed
• Builds and maintains tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations
• Communicates technical content to stakeholders
• Analyzes, plans, and executes mitigation strategies to prevent potential security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues in development, testing, and production environments
• Supports software development and testing operations. Performs software research and trade studies

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

• Bachelors degree or higher, * 10+ years’ experience in the Software Development lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test)
• 5+ years’ experience with Development Operations (DevOps) and/or Development Security Operations (DevSecOps)
• Experience working in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) using appropriate code versioning, build and test automation tools, * Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 14+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 18+ years of directly related work experience OR 22+ years of related, relevant experience
• Proficient with the GitLab ecosystem
• Experience with Agile software development
• Experience in build automation
• Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) security controls
• Experience leading software teams and/or projects
• Maintains a Security+ or equivalent certification
• Proficient with modern software development methodologies
• Proficient with a variety of software development languages, tools and techniques

Summary pay range: USD $164,900 - $223,100
