Job description

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.
Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
Develop responsive and user-friendly UI components using Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
Create scalable backend services using Spring Boot and related Spring Framework modules.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure software quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, security, and scalability issues.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design, optimize, and maintain data models.
Support production deployments and participate in incident resolution when required.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in: Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Microservices Architecture
Experience with frontend technologies: Angular (preferred) or React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
Strong Tech lead skills
Experience with databases such as Mongo DB and Oracle or SQL Server, or PostgreSQL, or MySQL., * 7+ years of experience in software development with Java/J2EE technologies.
Strong proficiency in:
Java 8/11/17+
Spring Boot
Spring MVC
Spring Data JPA
Spring Security
Microservices Architecture, Even driven designs using RabbitMQ
- Experience with front-end technologies:
Angular (preferred) or React
TypeScript
JavaScript
HTML5
CSS3
Experience developing REST APIs and web services.
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and SDLC practices.
Experience with No SQL DB esp. MongoDB
Experience with any relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Proficiency with Git-based source control systems.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience with Copilot, Devin, Windsurf for AI prompting, Spec Driven development

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
Experience with GraphQL and API gateway technologies.
Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, SonarQube, and CI/CD practices.
Understanding security standards, OAuth2, JWT, and OWASP best practices.
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, or Cypress
